We collect nothing, so there is nothing to hide.
This site has no contact form, no booking calendar, no cookies and no accounts — it has no mechanism to identify you as a visitor. What follows is the short, honest version of what that means under South Africa's POPIA, and under GDPR for visitors elsewhere.
What this site collects
Nothing. There is no contact form on this site — an explicit decision; see how we handle enquiries instead. There is no booking calendar. There are no cookies, no user accounts, no login, and no backend or database of any kind: this is a static website, built in advance and served as fixed files. There is no server-side code that could log, store or process anything you type or click.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to see aggregate traffic — roughly how many people visit a page, and from where. It is cookieless: it sets no cookie or identifier in your browser and cannot follow you across visits or across other sites. The numbers we see are aggregated counts, not individual visitor profiles. We do not use Google Analytics, and there is no tracking pixel, fingerprinting script or advertising tag anywhere on the site — which is also why there is no cookie-consent banner: with nothing to consent to, a banner would be theatre.
If you contact us directly
None of the above applies once you choose to reach us — by WhatsApp, phone or email, all linked from our Contact page. Those conversations happen on WhatsApp, your email provider or the phone network, not on this website, and are governed by that platform's own privacy terms as well as this policy. We use what you send us only to respond to your enquiry, and for nothing else.
Lawful basis
Because the site itself processes no personal information, no lawful basis is required for its ordinary operation. Where you contact us directly, our lawful basis under POPIA section 11 is your consent: you initiate contact, and you choose what to share with us.

Retention
The site stores nothing about your visit, so there is nothing to retain or delete on our end. Direct messages — WhatsApp, email or phone — are kept only for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, then deleted, in line with POPIA's storage limitation principle.
Your rights
Under POPIA, and under GDPR if you are visiting from elsewhere, you have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal information, and to complain to your data protection authority — the Information Regulator in South Africa. Because this website holds nothing about you, there is nothing on our systems to access or delete. For anything you have sent us directly, contact the information officer above to exercise these rights.
Changes to this policy
If what this site collects ever changes — for example, if a contact form or account system is added — this page will be updated to describe it accurately before that happens.
